Since 1976, the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) has been Ottawa’s home for animation. This August, OIAF is throwing a free, public party to kick off our 50th anniversary—and you’re invited.

Location: Metcalfe Plaza (151 Metcalfe St, downtown Ottawa)

• Live set by Killjoy – Ottawa’s favourite anime cover band

• Cosplay Showcase – Watch these local cosplayers show off their creativity on the runway

• DJ set – Music to keep the celebratory vibes high
