Vanier BIA's Akoustik Concert Series wrapping up in September

Not ready to say goodbye to summer yet? You're not alone: Ottawa's event organizers keep finding ways to extend summer festivities past the end of August.

This time it's the Vanier BIA, whose Akoustik summer concert series has been ongoing since mid-July. Held every Wednesday from 6-8 pm at St. Charles Market, this year's performers have featured the likes of Jessica Pearson & The East Wind, Angelique Francis, and OK Naledi, among others.

The concert series wraps up on September 17th, with September 24th held as a possible rain date. The final week's performances will feature Sophie D'Orleans and Beau Nectar.

Akoustik show nights also feature exclusive promotions at nearby restaurants, providing even more reason to catch the final week before the series ends.
