Late September: students are back in school, the weather is a bit cooler, and Halloween is only about a month away. It's fall, right?
Hold on, says Cranium Festival.
The summer isn't finished until we say it is.
Back for its seventh year, Cranium Festival will take place between September 18th and 21st, and will feature "high caliber, free outdoor concerts, dance battles, fire after parties, a new edition of Barcode Live and a pop up marketplace", according to a recent email announcement.
The main stage will be in Ogilvy Square, which the organizers note is right next to JOEY Rideau (and is not to be confused with Ogilvie Square on Montreal Road). Cranium Festivals promises "Live music, dope DJ's, amazing food, skilled dancers and THAT VIBE!".
If you're not ready to let go of summer by late September, Cranium Festival will be your last chance to capture the magic of festival season.
Cranium Festival is also currently seeking volunteers. You can sign up to volunteer via a Google Form, and find more information about Cranium Festival on its Facebook, X, and Instagram pages.
