“Ottawa RIBtoberfest” Opens Thursday!

It’s time for one last Big BBQ in Ottawa! Sparks Street is pleased host the 2nd annual RIBToberfest Thursday, September 25th to Sunday September 28th. Eight of Ottawa's favourite Ribbers return for a four day Bavarian- style feast. The Ribbers will be starting up at 11:00am each day. New for this year’s event, RIBtoberfest will be supporting the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. “The Sparks Street BIA is pleased to be able to support this great organization” says  Les Gagne, Sparks Street Executive Director . “Cancer has affected many people in the Sparks Street family and we want to give back!” Along with the eight Ribbers there will be live entertainment including SCHTEEV und die LIEDERHOSERS playing Saturday afternoon from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Other food vendors including Corn Roasters and Twisted Potato’s, tasty treats on a beautiful fall weekend. The Sparks Street team will also be playing Oktoberfest games with the public all weekend long for the chance to win great prizes.
