Get outside to enjoy the weather and #GetFestive with this diverse selection of festivals and celebrations all across the great city of Ottawa! Don't stay inside this summer, come and have a good time with these fun options:
Fringe Fest (June 13-23)

Into the performing arts? Want to support local artists? Want to laugh, cry or scream? Well, Fringe Fest is continuing this week with multiple shows selling out quick! Located in and around the Arts Courts, Fringe Fest offers a multitude of different, all original performances, with 100% of the profits going into the artist’s pocket. In 2019, Fringe Fest had a record breaking opening week, get tickets while you still can!

Celebrating Canada’s Garden Days (June 15-23)

With the weather starting to warm up, we want you to get outside and enjoy Canada’s naturally beautiful scenery this summer. Canada’s Garden Days is continuing this week in Ottawa and around Canada to celebrate and appreciate gardening in Canada’s environment. You can discover these gardens yourself on bike or bus or take a guided tour of some of the 75+ gardens and green spaces while passing historical, artistic and cultural landmarks. Make sure to plant some flowers and enjoy the spectacular gardens all across this blooming city!

Ribfest (June 19-23)

Get ready ribbers because Ottawa Ribfest on Spark Street is back! Come enjoy some of the finest mouth-watering meats the city has to offer. Featuring thirteen elite grill masters from across North America saucing it up from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. These artists of the grill will be competing their ribs, chicken and sauces for the “Champion Belt” with celebrity judges making appearances. Plus even more vendors, street performers and more! This annual celebration is a staple of the Ottawa festival scene so be sure to get your grill on and feast on some ribs.

Dragon Boat Festival (June 20-23)

Want to experience FREE concerts and family fun at North America’s largest playground? Paddle on down to the Dragon Boat Festival celebrating traditional Chinese culture. The festival exists to give visitors and locals the opportunity to participate and engage in the arts, sports, cultural, heritage and volunteer activities. With too many activities to list including free performances, dragon boat races, face painting, street/strolling performers, and axe throwing, don’t forget to swim down to this event for a full day of fun!

Summer Solstice (June 20-23)

Haven’t had enough FREE concerts, food and family fun? Visit the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festivals in Vincent Massey Park to celebrate the contribution of Metis, Inuit, and First Nations People have made to Canada. With too many events to list including a lineup of free performances, food from some of Canada’s best indigenous chefs, a pow wow and plenty of fun for the whole family, this is a cultural celebration that you don’t want to miss!

Escapade (June 22-23)

Ready to rave? Escapade has got you covered. Come party and dance to a plethora of EDM music this weekend. Escapade takes place in the Lansdowne area and showcases over 50+ talented EDM artists, many being Canadian including Loud Luxury. Make sure to grab your tickets and rave away!

Jazzfest (21 - July 1)

You like jazz? Jazzfest is back in full swing. The festival lasts ten days and takes place in many different venues indoors and outdoors, in and around TD Place. Featuring groundbreaking artists like Norah Jones, The Roots and Omara Portuondo to name a few. Come #GetFestive and celebrate with this spectacular jazz music.
