OTTAWA – Tuesday, May 7, 2024
Ottawa Bluesfest organizers today announced they’ll be bringing the ‘Crazy Horse’ experience to the festival, thanks to a new partnership with the Crazy Horse Steakhouse and Saloon. The plan includes a large bar tent on-site, fully customized to mimic the actual Crazy Horse experience. The Saloon will be located next to the Sirius XM stage, a short walk west of the RBC Stage, with ‘The Fireball Patio’ adjacent to it, sponsored by Fireball Cinnamon Whisky.
“We’re expecting The Crazy Horse Saloon to become a popular landmark onsite—an easily identifiable place for friends to meet up,” says Ottawa Bluesfest executive and artistic director, Mark Monahan. “We’re also looking forward to having the Crazy Horse team join us at the festival; their brand is synonymous with good times—something we pride ourselves in at the Ottawa Bluesfest.”
The Crazy Horse Saloon will also feature live DJs—who perform regularly at the Crazy Horse Steakhouse and Saloon in Kanata—a mechanical bull, and a full service bar staffed by knowledgeable Crazy Horse personnel.
“Much like the Ottawa Bluesfest, the Crazy Horse clientele includes a wide demographic of fun-loving patrons, so we feel this partnership is a great fit for us,” says Mike Labreche, co-owner of Crazy Horse Steakhouse and Saloon. “We’re delighted to be a part of Bluesfest. We consider it an iconic Ottawa institution.”
The festival will run from July 4 to Sunday, July 7 and from Wednesday, July 10 to Sunday, July 14.
