k-os Takes the Stage at this year's New Year’s Eve Capital Countdown

The Sparks Street B.I.A. is pleased to announce that Juno award winning artist k-os is the headline act at this year's New Year's Eve Capital Countdown. Joining k-os, two of Ottawa's best up and coming bands, the spectacular Loon Choir and the amazingly fun Cardboard Crowns. DJ 8barz will make his return spinning turns right up to the Maple Leaf Drop at midnight. “60 days and counting until the Sparks Street B.I.A. host's the biggest New Year's Eve Party in Ottawa” say Les Gagne, Executive Director of Sparks Street. “ The Sparks Street B.I.A. is excited to be bringing k-os to the nation's capital to ring in 2014! " The party will cover three blocks from Bank St to Elgin St and feature a new Maple Leaf Drop at Midnight along with fireworks and confetti, licensed areas specialty food vendors and more.
