The Department of Canadian Heritage wishes to advise residents and visitors to Canada’s Capital Region of the free OLG Sno-Bus shuttle service and the street closures that will take place during the 37th edition of Winterlude, which will be held from January 30 to February 16, 2015. Saturdays and Sundays, January 31 and February 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15, and Monday, February 16 (Family Day in Ontario)
Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; between Dows Lake, the Rideau Canal Skateway and Confederation Park
Monday, February 16 (Family Day in Ontario), 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; between Dows Lake, the Rideau Canal Skateway, Confederation Park and Jacques-Cartier Park
10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., between the Centre Robert-Guertin park-and-ride, Jacques-Cartier Park and Confederation Park.
Ongoing shuttle bus service is provided by OC Transpo (613-741-4390 www.octranspo.com) and the Société de transport de l’Outaouais (819-770-3242 www.sto.ca).
Laurier Avenue West between Nicholas Street and Elgin Street, as well as the Queen Elizabeth Driveway, will be closed to traffic at the following times:
Saturdays, January 31 and February 7 and 14; 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sundays, February 1, 8 and 15; 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday, February 16; 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Laurier Street, between de Verdun Street and Saint-Étienne Street, will be closed to traffic at the following times:
Mondays, February 2 and 9; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursdays, February 5 and 12; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fridays, January 30 and February 6 and 13; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Laurier Street, between de Verdun Street and Boulevard des Allumettières, and Saint-Étienne Street, between Laurier Street and Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street, will be closed to traffic at the following times:
Saturdays, January 31 and February 7 and 14; and Sundays, February 1, 8 and 15; 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Monday, February 16; 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm
