The fourth edition of Festival of India, Ottawa begins in the heart of Ottawa – in Marion Dewar Plaza at Ottawa City Hall – on August 7, and continues through the weekend on 8, and 9, 2015. Enjoy a warm welcome, authentic Indian food from different regions of India and a fascinating array of music, dance – classical, folk and, Bollywood - complemented by a variety of workshops. Highlights include concerts by Subhranil Sarkar, Jaron Freeman-Fox, Red Baraat and Delhi 2 Dublin! Workshops will introduce you to Yoga, Indian cooking, classical and Bollywood dancing, Henna hand painting and the Art of Rangoli. At the

workshop you’ll master the elegant art of wearing a Saree. Guests can learn about Indian spices, Ayurveda medicine and much more. The Festival of India is honoured to host a Panel Discussion “Building a Global Community – Prospects and Problems”. The festival will provide guests with many memorable “tastes” of Indian culture.
