Qaggiavuut Nunavut Performing Arts Centre

Qaggiavuut’s mission is to preserve and promote Inuit culture, revitalize traditional Inuit arts, and support Inuit artists. To do this, we create Qaggiqs – spaces where artists gather, learn, and pass on traditional arts. We also provide training, research, and support for performers, creators, elders, and knowledge keepers across Inuit Nunangat. We help strengthen practices like drum dancing, throat singing, sewing, storytelling, and other traditional art forms that carry our identity. As we make space for Inuit artists to gather, we honour our past and guide our future.
