TORONTO, ON (June 2024) – Canadian Music Week (CMW) and the Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA) are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024 Canadian Live Music Industry Awards (CLMIAs). The CLMIAs, a night of celebration and recognition bringing together the Canadians behind live music, was hosted by JUNO Award and Polaris Prize winner Haviah Mighty. The event took place on June 4th as part of CMW, and showcased performances from Ari Hicks, Kingfish, and a special tribute by The Pursuit of Happiness. In her annual address  Erin Benjamin, President & CEO of the CLMA, celebrated the 10th anniversary of the association, and its work to date. “Live music changes lives every single day. The 8th annual Canadian Live Music Industry Awards were a chance to reconnect and celebrate with colleagues from across the country. In this 10th anniversary year of the association, we remain deeply inspired by how much artists, and the music they create, mean to the world—today and everyday. The CLMA congratulates its incredible members, nominees, and recipients. Here’s to the next ten years and the bright future of live music in Canada!” said Benjamin.
