Digi60 is looking for the following two position(s):
1/. Secretary to the Board
The Secretary to the Board is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to meet legal requirements, and to enable authorized persons to determine when, how, and by whom the board's business was conducted. In order to fulfill these responsibilities, and subject to the organization's bylaws, the Secretary records minutes of meetings, ensures their accuracy, and availability, proposes policies and practices, submits various reports to the board, maintains membership records, fulfills any other requirements of a Director and Officer, and performs other duties as the need arises and/or as defined in the bylaws.

4-6 working hours per month, which includes attendance at board meetings (starting in January 2016).
1-2 years experience working on a Not-For-Profit arts organization board.
Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
Must be available during the Digi60 Festival Screenings for the length of their position on the Board.
Familiar with Robert's Rule of Order (asset, but not mandatory).
2/. Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper will invoice customers, process and remit payments, monitor petty cash and bank statements, produce financial reports and work with the accountant. They will work independently, and report to the President.

4-6 hours per month during Festival months; 1-2 working hours every other month. Time includes attendance at board meetings (starting in January 2016).
Familiar with generally accepted accounting principles. Booking experience and/or Accounting designation would be a definite asset.
1-2 years experience working on a NFP arts organization board would be an asset.
Must be available during the Digi60 Festival Screenings for the length of their position on the Board.
