For immediate release Theatre Wakefield Presents Limited Run Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre at the Wakefield Mill WAKEFIELD, QUÉBEC - What happens when a writer who wanted to grow up to be an Egyptologist encounters a beautiful meal in a stunning venue? Murder mystery dinner theatre at the Wakefield Mill! Join the fun and guess whodunit at Theatre Wakefield’s presentation of “Blake Field and the Case of the Curse of the Pharaoh’s Curse”. For a special four night engagement only – Friday and Saturday evenings November 18th and 19th, and December 2nd and 3rd starting at 6:30pm. Scott V. Hébert-Daly, playwright and Classical Studies major, will take audiences on a journey of greed, curses, academia and mayhem while they enjoy a delicious full course meal in one of the region’s most beautiful and storied locations. The fourth instalment of the Blake Field detective series is the first to be held at the Mill. It’s murder most mummified as a showman, a windbag, a blowhard and a nutbar all compete for your attention while the bodies start dropping and the ancient Egyptian trivia starts flying. Guests will be given the opportunity to help detective Blake Field solve the murder by following clues throughout the evening, and discussing the matter with the suspects. In this style of theatre, the audience is part of the scene. Andrew Rooney will be reprising the role of Detective Blake Field, joined by the cast of performers Jeffrey Ferguson, Rhonda Arsenault and Jill Rick, along with the playwright himself. The 3-course meal will delight dinner guests with main course choice of Roulade de filet de porc, or Herbed polenta with wild mushroom fricassee. Tickets are $49 plus taxes and are available online at theatrewakefield.ca and must be purchased in advance. There will be no tickets available at the door. Seating is limited, so guests should procure their tickets early.  -30- For more information or to schedule an interview with the playwright or cast members, contact Linda Gillies, Producer at 613-791-1860 or lindagillies@yahoo.cominda
