The Sawmill Haunt Comes to Saunders Farm

Munster, ON – Saunders Farm is thrilled to announce that the iconic Sawmill Haunt, previously featured at Lansdowne, will find a new permanent home at Saunders Farm! “After operating the Sawmill Haunt Event for three years, including through the difficult Covid-19 Pandemic, we’ve decided to close our downtown event and focus on our flagship fall festivals - PumpkinFest and FrightFest at Saunders Farm. It was a great event that had run its course”, says Mark Saunders, Director of Fun at Saunders Farm. “We're looking forward to bringing this popular Haunt to the Farm to add even more fun -and scares! - to our guest experience.” We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited the Sawmill Haunt at Lansdowne and supported us over the years. We’re also truly grateful for the support of our partners- Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group and Skeleton Marketing- for helping create our first downtown event. We’d also like to thank Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, Ottawa Tourism and the City of Ottawa for their support. We are excited to bring all the spine-chilling fun to Saunders Farm. The Sawmill Haunt will debut on-site at our A Midsummer Night's Scream event, running on August 9 and 10 from 6-10 PM, and will be a key feature at our annual FrightFest this fall. Get ready for a heart-pounding, immersive experience as the Sawmill Haunt takes its place among our lineup of terrifying attractions, where guests will now be able to enjoy 7 Haunts.
