The Ottawa Festival Network held its successful Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, August 28, at Overflow Brewing Company. Board members, staff, and stakeholders gathered to discuss the year's achievements and outline future goals. We are encouraged by the positive changes on the horizon, including updates to OFN’s systems and structures that are in keeping with the organizations founding values and purpose. These developments are expected to strengthen the OFN’s impact within the festival, special event, and fair community and enhance its ability to support members.

As part of the AGM, we held elections for OFN’s volunteer Board of Directors. We are thrilled to introduce six new Board Members! Please give a warm welcome to:

  • Melanie Anderson, Director - General Manager at the ByWard Market District Authority

  • Emily Ramsay, Director - Director at the Digital Arts Resource Centre, Chair of the Board at Digi60 Filmmakers Festival
