Sax in The City at Lansdowne Park during Winterlude’s Opening Weekend

Sax in The City is coming to Ottawa during Winterlude’s Opening weekend! A hop and a skip from the Rideau Canal, join the fun and music on Friday January 30 and Saturday January 31, 2015 in the Horticulture Building at Ottawa’s Lansdowne Park.

• Doors open at 7:00 pm

• Must be 19+

Friday January 30th,

• Warm up to the sweet sounds of Sax Appeal (7:30 pm),

• followed by the urban future-folk music of Bosveld (8:30 pm),

• the rootsy folk songs of Jack Pine & The Fire (9:30 pm),

• indie pop-folk collective The Franklin Electric (11:00 pm)

• and Adam Saikeley’s electronic waves

Saturday January 31st,

• Classical and jazz melodies by Sax Appeal (7:00 pm)

• followed by Ottawa-based indie pop band Gold & Marrow (8:00 pm),

• Canadian troubadour singer-songwriter Jeremy Fisher (9:00 pm),

• a percussive explosion of Soul, Jazz, Afro, Latin and Caribbean rhythms by the Soul Jazz Orchestra (10:30 pm)

• and chill-out, electronic beats and grooves by Adam Saikeley.
