Save the date for the St. Andrew’s Day and Scottish Heritage Day flag Raising Ceremony on Saturday, 30th November, noon to 1 pm, Marion Dewar Plaza, Ottawa City Hall!
St. Andrew is Scotland's patron saint and on 30 November, Canadians celebrate this day each year along with the rest of the world.
Following a short ceremony at the flag poles to the north side of City Hall, we will convene at nearby Deacon Brodie's pub, 247 Elgin Street for music, drinks and complimentary snacks. With thanks to the Scottish Government Canada office for their support.
