Saunders Farm Celebrates Record-Breaking Halloween Season with Gratitude and Community Spirit

ree

MUNSTER, ON - Saunders Farm is thrilled to announce that this year’s PumpkinFest and FrightFest have marked a record-breaking Haunting Season. Thousands of guests joined us to celebrate the magic, mystery, and fun that make Saunders Farm a beloved fall tradition. We are profoundly grateful to our community for the incredible support we’ve received this season. Every year, our team strives to give back to the community that makes Saunders Farm what it is - and this year has been no exception.

This Haunting Season, Saunders Farm proudly supported three major community causes and is donating a total of $16,934.41 between the three organizations.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation: Odawa Native Friendship Centre

On September 30, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Saunders Farm donated a portion of all ticket sales from that day to the Odawa Native Friendship Centre. Thanks to the support of 598 ticket buyers, we were able to contribute $1,200 to support the Centre’s important work.

Thanksgiving Weekend: The Ottawa Food Bank

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, a portion of ticket sales was donated to The Ottawa Food Bank, including $2 from every ticket sold, along with additional guest donations. With 2,640 tickets sold and 227 generous guest donations totaling $451.41, we proudly donated $5,731.41 to help fight hunger in our community.

Scaring is Caring: Youth Services Bureau

Our annual Scaring is Caring fundraiser returned this season in memory of Jamie Hubley, a cherished former team member who brought joy and spirit to our Haunted Hayride. Through this annual fundraising campaign, Saunders Farm continues to raise awareness and funds for the Youth Services Bureau (YSB). This year the Saunders Farm family is donating $10,000.

A Record Year of Fall Fun

From laughter-filled days at PumpkinFest to spine-tingling nights at FrightFest, this season has been our most successful yet - thanks to every guest, staff member, and community partner who made it possible. The Saunders Farm family has also donated tickets valued at over $12,230.

“We are deeply thankful for the love and support we’ve received from our community,” said Mark Saunders.“Every ticket purchased, every pumpkin carved, and every scare shared helps us continue our mission - to cultivate amazing fun, food and memories. We are blessed to call Ottawa home and to give our guests the opportunity to connect to each other and to the land.”
