Held on the grounds of the St. Elias Cathedral and Banquet Hall, this festivals highlights include midway rides, multiple marketplaces, live cultural entertainment and lots of delicious traditional (and not so traditional) food! Admission is free before 5:00PM.
The Capital Ukrainian Festival is sure to delight! Spend a day immersed in Ukrainian culture. Eat traditional Ukrainian comfort foods (pierogis, anyone?), sing, dance, drink, and hangout at the petting zoo! Participate in workshops, browse the marketplace and dance the night away at the after parties and concerts. This festival truly has something for everyone. Free parking and admission.
A Company of Fools presents Twelfth Night, Shakespeare’s most musical romantic comedy! This performance is packed with ship wrecks, duels, and mistaken identity. It’s faced-paced, whimsical and offers something for the whole family! So bring the kids, pack a picnic, and enjoy some family time in the park. Shows start every night at 7:00PM (with a 2:00PM matinee on Saturdays) and are pay-what-you-can, though the suggested donation is $20.
Take a journey of sound and light through Canada’s history. This bilingual show explores how Canada came to be by telling the story of key figures, events and achievements from our history.
