Live it. Love It. Lebanese Style! Held every July, the Ottawa Lebanese Festival celebrates five days of marvellous Middle Eastern food, entertainment and genuine traditions on the grounds of the St. Elias Cathedral and Banquet Hall. The Festival is proud of its world-wide recognition and success as a family-oriented festival celebrating the culture of Lebanon.
Celebrating 27 years in the national capital region, the Ottawa Lebanese Festival brings the rich diversity of the Ottawa-Lebanese community with five days of marvellous food, Middle Eastern entertainment and heritage. Beginning Wednesday, July 19th and running through to July 23rd, the grounds of the St. Elias Cathedral showcase a variety of savoury goods and Lebanese culture.
The Millennium Limousine Main Entrance
With free shuttle service from the Canada Post parking lot, Millennium Limousine Services offers free entry to the festival everyday until 5pm.
The Gabriel Pizza Family Midway
Open every day at 11am. There are plenty of rides and games for children, as well as the young at heart. The pay-one-price ride bracelets are $25 per person, per day.
The TANNIS Food Tent
Savour the very best in Lebanese cuisine. Indulge in Hummus, Tabouli, Falaful and Chicken Sahawarma. Also available are a combination of appetizing Middle Eastern platters, including vegetarian selections.
The Robbie’s Spaghetti House Marketplace
There are also delectable desserts and coffee you can enjoy while your cruise the beautiful display of genuine Lebanese crafts, history and artwork.
The DNG Law Saj Tent
Offering the ever popular “saj” bread – made in a time-honoured tradition and prepared in front of your eyes. Opens daily at 5pm
The Tony Mendes Stage
Embrace the Middle Eastern culture while various artists as they perform contemporary and customary music, dances and entertainment. A complete schedule is available on the festival website and Facebook page.
The KS on the Keys Beirut Lounge
A wonderful place to relax with friends – offering a new full menu that includes beef kaebabs, fatouch salad, and kafta – as well as the traditional Lebanese Argily (Shisha) surrounded by live nightly entertainment.
The Pepsi Teen Confectionary
The Pepsi Confectionary is operated by the hard working young adult volunteers. Offering ice cream, refreshing beverages, snow-cones, and you cannot forget the cotton candy and the candy apples. We have all the snacks to soothe your craving!
Take a trip through time and heritage when you enter the Lebanese Cultural Tent. Browse the cultural artifacts, informative pamphlets and videos to experience the vibrant country and style of Lebanon. This virtual tour will give you a sense of what it is like to visit this beautiful country.
St. Elias Cathedral Tour
Experience the grandeur of the St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral and the rich history of the religion though a private tour. Church tours are available throughout the festival: Weekdays 6:00pm – 10:00pm. Saturday and Sunday 2:00pm – 10:00pm.
