Puppets Up! Rod Puppet Workshop for Kids

John Nolan and Kathy MacLelland of Ottawa's Rag & Bone Puppet Theatre will host a Puppets Up! workshop, "Make A Puppet Show in a Day" on April 26th, in Almonte, Ontario, for kids aged 6-11 years. Contact Jeff@jbarts.ca Puppets Up! International Puppet Festival in Almonte, Ontario is offering a series of hands-on workshops in the art and magic of puppetry. The next puppet workshop will be for kids aged 6-11 years “” with the award winning, Ottawa-based, Rag and Bone Puppet Theatre. In this workshop, young participants will make sturdy wooden rod puppets, work in small groups to make up stories for their puppet characters, rehearse, and then present their show at the end of the day to parents and friends in the JB Arts studio, in Almonte.  Pizza will be served free of charge for lunch and popcorn will be served at the show.   All materials for this workshop will be supplied. The “” workshop will be held on Saturday, April 26th from 10 am to 3pm at the JB Arts Studio, 64 Mill Street, Almonte. The performance for parents and friends will begin at 2:30pm.
