Puppets Up! International Puppet Festival in Almonte, Ontario is offering a series of hands-on workshops in the art and magic of puppetry. The next puppet workshop will be “Performing Puppets for TV or YouTube” and will be offered by Trish Leeper, professional television puppeteer and puppet builder. Trish will introduce students to television puppetry and students will work with a TV monitor and learn how to manipulate puppets in front of a TV camera. Bring your own favourite puppet or use one provided. The “Performing Puppets for TV or YouTube” workshop will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 10 am to 4pm at the JB Arts Studio, 64 Mill Street, Almonte.
