PoutineFest on Sparks: The Local Favourites Return to Sparks

Local vendors return for PoutineFest to celebrate our national delicacy. Come out to Sparks Street April 24-27 to enjoy some traditional, new and exotic poutine at the Spring PoutineFest. Vendors from across Ontario and Quebec will be serving their version of golden French fries cooked to perfection, melted cheese curds, and delicious warm gravy in attempt to win over the judging panel for best poutine. "Some of our favourite local Ottawa poutine purveyors will be in attendance ", says Les Gagne, Executive Director of Sparks Street Village. “We are excited to see what kind of poutine variations the vendors come up with this year." Returning local favourites include Smoke’s Poutinerie, Kemptville’s Fat Les, Vanier’s Snack Shack, Bell Corners T&T fries and Sparks Street’s own Cock and Lion. The limited edition Poutine Passport returns as well for festivalgoers who can’t decide which vendor is best and wish to taste many “sample sized poutines”.
