Opera Lyra’s elegant Garden Party fundraiser not to be missed.

Opera Lyra invites opera lovers to supporter to the 19th annual . This elegant fundraiser is generously hosted by the Ambassador of Italy who opens his gardens for the affair.  This will be the second year His Excellency Gian Lorenzo Cornado and Mrs. Martine Cornado host the event at the Ambassador’s official residence. Over the past several years the demand for tickets has increased, said Opera Lyra’s General Director, Jeep Jeffries. When Jeffries arrived in Ottawa to begin his new job, his first official function was the. As guests arrive, they are greeted and sample traditional Italian food and wines.  Soon they are joined by models wearing stylish special occasion and evening wear from The models mingle informally before presenting the finale.    At 7:00 pm, guests are treated to a concert of arias. This year baritone  , tenor, most recently seen in Opera Lyra’smainstage production of are performingas well as soprano  who performed in the Opera Lyra Studio production of The opera al fresco is the highlight of the evening.
