Opening Ceremony for the Capital Ukrainian Festival

WHAT: Gates open Saturday 11:00 on July 23, 2016.  Grand Opening Ceremony at noon - featuring official greetings from government representatives, the Ukrainian Embassy, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, sponsors, dance and a very special guest. This year marks a historical milestone for Ukrainian- Canadians - the 125th Anniversary of Ukrainian Settlement in Canada.  The Capital Ukrainian Festival will be showcasing the rich contributions of Ukrainian-Canadians to Canadian life through music, dance, arts, fashion, sports, politics, film, food and more.
