(Advanced purchase highly recommended as seating is limited.) Description: It is autumn 1914. WWI, the Great War of Civilization, has broken out in Europe. Canada has answered the call, and soon Ottawa has soldiers marching in its streets. Spies are thought to be lurking everywhere. Even Chatsworth House, a 19th century country mansion converted to a comfortable but underfinanced inn, cannot provide refuge. At a grand reception in honour of a fading star of the international stage, almost everyone has someone they want to kill. In this year’s mapcap comedy, “Murder with a Twist”, the guests are introduced to cocktails, a new drink gaining popularity in America and Britain, but in Chatsworth House, they can be fatal. This is the seventh murder-mystery-comedy in the Spirits of the Times series, which Ottawa StoryTellers has been producing for the past twenty years.
