Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy unveil international program for 2026 edition

Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy have unveiled the countries featured in the event’s 29th edition, taking place July 29 to August 15, 2026 at the Canadian Museum of History. This year’s program will once again bring together internationally renowned pyromusical performances alongside cultural experiences, gastronomy, digital arts and interactive programming throughout the festival site. Tickets are now available at feux.qc.ca.

“For nearly 30 years, Les Grands Feux have brought magic to our community and gathered people around a unique shared experience. This meeting of global cultures and local expertise creates a unique experience for visitors and gives Les Grands Feux their distinctive character.” — Julie Moffatt, President and CEO, Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy

A cultural journey across the festival site

In 2026, the international dimension of Les Grands Feux will extend beyond the fireworks themselves. According to a survey conducted among festivalgoers, nearly 70% say the event’s international dimension directly influences their interest in attending. In response, the organization is expanding programming inspired by the featured countries across the entire festival site. Visitors will discover cultural, culinary and participatory experiences celebrating global traditions, with additional programming announcements expected later this spring.

“Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy perfectly embodies the spirit of major summer events: accessible, creative and deeply rooted in their community. At Loto-Québec, we are proud to support an initiative that brings people together, celebrates creativity and reflects a strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility.” — Éric Meunier, Director, Social Engagement, Loto-Québec

Commitment to a more sustainable event

Les Grands Feux continues to place sustainable development at the heart of its operations.

Last fall, the event received the Prix Vertuose for sustainable events, recognizing regional initiatives that integrate environmentally responsible practices into both event management and visitor experience.

The organization is currently developing a structured, sustainable development plan in collaboration with Enviro Éduc-Action to strengthen existing initiatives and guide future actions. This commitment also extends to the fireworks themselves: each show will include a minimum of 35% environmentally friendly pyrotechnic components, helping reduce the event’s environmental footprint.

Boulev’Art de la Vallée: the 2026 featured cause

Les Grands Feux will highlight Boulev’Art de la Vallée as its featured cause in 2026. The Outaouais organization supports adults living with mental health challenges through rehabilitation and social integration programs where art becomes a tool for expression, empowerment and well-being.

Several initiatives throughout the event will support the organization’s mission:

  • Option to add a donation when purchasing tickets online

  • Sale of a children’s storybook benefiting the organization

  • Donation opportunities when purchasing food or beverages

  • Awareness video capsules on Les Grands Feux platforms

  • Visibility equivalent to that of major partners

“Designation as the featured cause of Les Grands Feux is an incredible privilege for us. This partnership allows us to raise awareness about our mission while highlighting the power of art as a tool for expression, confidence and well-being for the people we support.” — Jean-François Parent, Executive Director, Boulev’Art de la Vallée
