JAMDAY 2014 - August 9, 2014

JAMDAY is hosted by the Jamaican (Ottawa) Community Association.  This annual event has been taking place for a number of years and has been growing steadily. The Association is inviting everyone to come out and celebrate its 50 years in the making at JAMDAY 2014 during the first week of August. JAMDAY is a wonderful opportunity to experience the rich culture of Jamaica through reggae music, folk dances, songs, stories, food, games and more.  World-class artists Tinga Stewart, Ghost and Pinchers live from Jamaica will be featured.  This one of a kind event will be packed with fun and enjoyment for the whole family. This year’s celebration will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Mooney’s Bay Park from noon to 10:30 pm.
