HoP into July with House of PainT this long weekend

JULY 2 ► Canada Day Weekend (2v2 All Styles Battle) - GTxFF Giant Tiger and The Flava Factory are proud to team up and present a 2 v 2 All Ages All Styles Battle on Majors Hill as a part of the Canada Day Weekend Celebrations during WE DAY on the Hill. The battles will take place between the acts and speeches on the Main Canadian Heritage Stage. Check us out at the Giant Tiger stage to take part in the competition, as well as some free dance workshops. House of Paint partners with Canada Scene Sunday, July 2, 2017, 12:00 pm NAC MAIN LOBBY Canada Scene is collaborating with House of PainT Festival of Urban Arts and Culture, Ottawa’s leading presenter of hip-hop and urban arts, in this special event that merges DJing and turntablism, rapping, and graffiti art into an exhilarating afternoon of presentations and hands-on experiences. Witness graffiti art being created before your eyes, try your hand at spray painting, and listen as MCs move the crowd with their lyrical skills. This exciting presentation includes great programming for the whole family!
