The Ottawa Grassroots Festival has announced Hobin Architecture Incorporated as the Main Stage Sponsor for its all-Indigenous evening of music. With diversity, inclusion and participation as the ethos of the organization, the sponsorship offers a cohesive partnership, with its 40 years of experience is forming strong partnerships and building "design for community." "Community, includes the local community that surrounds the venue, as well as the artistic, volunteer, and city-wide communities, explains Founder and Producer of the Festival," Bob Nesbitt. A family-friendly festival that is a culmination of music, dance and spoken word, its name is an extension of its core values of community. The organization is volunteer run, and the Hobin Architecture Incorporated sponsorship provides an opportunity for the festival to support and be inclusive of all artists, while keeping tickets affordable and accessible. The festival will take place from April 25-28, 2019 at Southminister United Church, 15 Aylmer Avenue, in Old Ottawa South. "The creativity required in architects and in festival producers is essential in building sustainable communities and values. I am absolutely thrilled to have the support of Hobin Architecture Inc. for the 2019 edition of Grassroots. With the help of this sponsorship for our evening with Indigenous artists, we are going to deliver one heck of a festival," exclaims Nesbitt.
