Charles Weiner on the Baby Grand – Opening Gala Originally from Montreal, Charles Weiner was a child prodigy pianist. He went on to become a film and television director in Toronto. After 25 years Mr. Weiner has returned to his first love as a classical composer – he has spent the last two years creating a work for contemporary ballet entitled Black Crow Dancing. Ta Da! is delighted he will be playing in the lobby for the Opening Gala, Friday, September 9th at 9:30pm The Paugan Dames – Chris MacLean, Tina Therrien and Malise Arlane – Closing Party The Paugan Dames emerged out of the cold at a Christmas market in Wakefield. Spicy mandolin, guitar, percussion and stand-up bass create a tasteful backdrop for their rich and sultry harmonies.
