Digi60 is so excited to announce that festival passes and tickets for individual screening blocks and workshops for the 20th annual Digi60 Filmmakers’ Festival are now available! The full list of programming events is available here. There will be five blocks of screenings: the Community Shorts block (lineup to be announced soon), the BIPOC Creators Microgrant recipients, and the blocks for the 60-Day Challenge participants (Block A, Block B, and Block C). With US Conference - Tickets on Sale Now
On 6 December they will also be holding the With US: Media Art and Film Conference, a special programming event for their 20th Anniversary; a conference independent of the festival that will focus on building an inclusive ecosystem for storytellers in film, media and art. Through candid conversations and presentations, attendees will leave with inspiration to approach their storytelling in an authentic, inclusive way. This past Friday, over fifty Registered Filmmakers and their associates gathered at Krüsch in the ByWard Market to celebrate their successful completion of the 60-Day Challenge!
With a total of thirty-three films submitted for the festival (plus five more funded by the BIPOC Creators Microgrant), we have a wonderful lineup of short films to present this December.
The party raged for hours Friday night as filmmakers congratulated each other on their accomplishments and shared a well-deserved drink… and perhaps began to form connections for next year?
