Listen to Digi60 filmmakers interviewed on CBC's In Town and Out

Back in December,

Digi60 filmmakers Beatrice Villadelgado and Jessie Edwards met with CBC's Giacomo Panico

to discuss what it was like to participate in the Digi60 challenge — making a short film in just 60 days. "

forces you to get

done, because when you plan a project, you put it off, put it off, and real life comes in, right?" Edwards told Panico. "But if you put it off, you're not up for awards." Listen to the full interview segment here.

Working with Digi60

If you're not a filmmaker, but you're still interested in working with Digi60, you might enjoy reading practicum student
Brian Edgar's experience working as a videographer and editor
with the festival.

"I was given tons of room for creative freedom with all of these videos, but was still able to receive help whenever it was wanted," Edgar writes in his post. "Working with Digi60 was an equally fun and enriching experience."
