Writer: Hayley CombaluzierHayley Combaluzier

CityFolk organizers are delighted to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Ogilvie Subaru and the Mierins Automotive Group for naming rights to the VIP ZONE, located on the 'Great Lawn', facing the main stage at Lansdowne Park. The newly-named Ogilvie Subaru VIP ZONE will include private washrooms, a private bar, and a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Ogilvie Subaru VIP ZONE single-day and full-festival passes will be available, offering exclusive access to the Ogilvie Subaru VIP ZONE. Reserved seats on an elevated platform will be available for Ogilvie Subaru VIP ZONE single-day pass-holders on a day-to-day basis. Full-festival Ogilvie Subaru VIP ZONE pass-holders will have lounge style chairs and tables at ground level. “CityFolk recognizes that the Mierins Automotive Group and Ogilvie Subaru align nicely with our mandate of providing a high-quality experience for music fans in Ottawa,” says CityFolk executive director Mark Monahan. “As the official automotive sponsor, their support will be an important building block, contributing to the ongoing success of the festival.” Sit down long enough with Lisa Mierins, Co-President of the Mierins Automotive Group, and you will find that the conversation quickly shifts towards her passion for philanthropy. "Success comes in the form of continually striving for improvement and holding true to your values," says Lisa. "Success cannot be measured by what we have, but rather by how much we give back." As she continues to develop the Mierins Automotive Group, Lisa continues her dedication to being an active leader in her community through her charitable work and support for like-minded organizations, such as CityFolk.
