Chamberfest to celebrate the holidays with the King’s Singers, the Ottawa Choral Society in 2018 Legendary British vocal ensemble will also celebrate their 50th anniversary during two-night engagement with celebrated Ottawa choir June 1, 2018 OTTAWA – The King Singers will return to Chamberfest for the holidays Dec. 14 and 15, as part of their 50th anniversary year and Chamberfest’s 25th anniversary celebrations. In this very special programme, the United Kingdom’s legendary vocal sextet will join forces with conductor Jean-Sébastien Vallée and the Ottawa Choral Society for a festive celebration at Dominion-Chalmers (355 Cooper St.) at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The programme will feature performances by both ensembles, as well as a one-of-a-kind collaboration between the Singers and the Choral Society’s 120-strong choir. Single tickets, as well as fall-spring Concert Series subscriptions, go on sale during Chamberfest’s 2018 summer festival.
