Ottawa-born opera singer takes a break from the international stage to perform Schubert’s landmark song cycle with Le Chimera Project  One of Canada’s top baritones is bringing his much-acclaimed twist on Franz Schubert’s Winterreise home to Ottawa. Philippe Sly and Le Chimera Project perform at Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre on Jan. 20. Workshopped in 2017 at Domaine Forget, Le Chimera Project’s fresh take on a 19th-century mainstay is arranged for voice, clarinet, trombone, accordion and violin.
