Arboretum Festival is thrilled to announce its 2014 music line-up and initial details. For its third edition, the festival expands to six days of programming from August 18th to 23rd showcasing in over a dozen venues across Ottawa-Gatineau. The festival culminates with two nights of outdoor concerts at Arts Court. Musical highlights include the highly anticipated reunion of, figurehead (of Broken Social Scene) Calgary's art-rock maverick , and (celebrating the 15th anniversary of their Juno Award winning self-titled album). Dedicated to the region's music scene, Arboretum once again showcases a curated line-up of locally established and emerging acts including new wave pioneers , punk-rock globetrotters alt-country herosand many more. This year, the festival has partnered with over 20 presenters including , , , and regional partners such as Festival , , , , and many more. In the coming weeks, Arboretum will announce additional programming which will include: chef and restaurant showcases, hard-hitting arts and culture panel discussions (ARB Talks), art installations, and film screenings at the Mayfair theatre.
