Calling all music lovers! Kick off your summer on the right note and have some fun in the sun at these upcoming music festivals this July. Set your trebles aside and prepare for some crescendo because whether you are into classical music, rock, hip-hop and everything in between there is something happening this month specially for you.

Music & Beyond

To begin music festival season in Canada’s capital we have Music & Beyond, which is quite literally music… and beyond. Live music, theatre, poetry, dance, art shows, comedy, magic and even food and wine can all be found at this extravagant 14 day event. Since July of 2010 Music & Beyond has brought tons of fun for people of all ages in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. In 2015 this event was even nominated for festival of the year. Amazing acts including legendary sopranos Kathleen Battle and Emma Kirkby and world renowned Canadian actor Christopher Plummer from “The Sound of Music” have made appearances in previous years.
