The Capital Pride festival returns Aug 22-30 with the Capital Pride Pageant, Pride Parade, and more!
Event Highlights:
August 22 - The Capital Pride Pageant returns to the National Arts Centre in Southam Hall
August 23 - Bring the whole group to the Family Picnic from noon-4pm at Hintonburg Park
August 24 - Raise the progress flag at City Hall at 10am
August 26 - See three plays from the Fringe Festival remounted, at Queered: A minifest
August 27 - Weekend Kick Off at Metcalfe Plaza
August 28 - 30 TD Main Stage performances
The Street Festival returns to Bank Street this year on August 29 – 30 from 12 – 8pm each day! It features community organizations, political groups, a craft fair, activations from our corporate partners and other programming. Join Capital Pride in Ottawa’s Village as we celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
The Pride Parade returns on August 30, 2026 at 1pm! Join more than 225 groups and over 11,000 community members as we take to our city’s streets. Plus, this year’s Grand Marshal and Honoured Group lead the parade.
