The 2023 Fall Edition is fast approaching! Hard to believe we're just 10 days away from welcoming some of the world's finest authors to our stage! AND we've got lots in store between now and then too! On Monday, we're lucky enough to be welcoming #1 New York Times bestselling author Kathy Reichs back to Ottawa with her twenty-second high-stakes thriller featuring forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan!  She'll be hosted  by Brenda Chapman author of the thrilling Stonechild and Rouleau series.  On Wednesday, we'll be hosting 4 of the 5 shortlisted authors for the 2023 Scotiabank Giller Prize, Eleanor CattonKevin Chong, Dionne Irving and CS Richardson, and then it's FESTIVAL TIME! We've also just announced two post Festival events: On Friday, November 10th we're hosting Jann Arden for a special event in partnership with the Fairmont Chateau Laurier and Penguin Random House Canada. We're excited to welcome her to Ottawa to celebrate her debut novel, The Bittlemores, for a conversation with CBC Ottawa's Alan Neal.  Then, on Friday, November 17th we're partnering with Library and Archives Canada and the Ottawa Public Library to host Cree artist Kent Monkman and his longtime collaborator Gisèle Gordon for a conversation with Carleton University's Adrian Harewood about their new book, The Memoirs of Miss Chief Eagle Testickle (Volume 1).
