“Ottawa Ribfest” Begins Today!

Canada’s largest urban BBQ starts today on Sparks Street!   The festival that kicks off the summer season in Ottawa and never disappoints your taste buds returns with 17 Ribbers from around North America.   The Ribbers will be starting up at 11:00am each day, competing for  “BIG BELT” Title for best rib, best chicken and best sauce.

as we bring you Ribbers from around North America preparing the most flavoursome ribs, chicken and pulled pork,” says  Les Gagne, Sparks Street Executive Director . “don’t forget your wet naps and a bib, cause it’s gioing to get sticky!” Along with the 17 Ribbers there will be live entertainment, other complementing food vendors, our very popular Sticky Social Judging Contest on Thursday evening, and an amateur Pulled Pork eating contest on Saturday afternoon at 2pm.  Do you think you got what it takes to eat the most Pulled Pork?
