Writer: Hayley CombaluzierHayley Combaluzier

Parliament Hill has been the official Canada Day site for over 50 years. The Centre Block Rehabilitation project means the Canada Day main stage is moving to a new location in the heart of the capital. Canadian Heritage is pleased to announce two new public sites that will allow as many people as possible to participate in the Canada Day activities in Canada’s Capital Region:

  • LeBreton Flats Park, the new official site for this year’s daytime ceremony and evening show, as well as activities for everyone, and Place des festivals Zibi, a new official site which will feature programming for the whole family.

  • The iconic Parliament Hill will feature some activities.

Canadian Heritage is continuously monitoring the situation and will modify programming as required by public health authorities to ensure the appropriate health and safety measures are in place. Full programming announcement coming soon!
