From 10am Tuesday June 14 – 10am Wednesday June 15, over two dozen of the city’s best musicians will be playing non-stop at the Record Centre (1099 Wellington St. W) to celebrate the 2016 edition of the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival. The performers, including JUNO-nominees Petr Cancura and John Geggie, Souljazz Orchestra composer Pierre Chretien, ace guitarist Roddy Ellias, and The Chocolate Hot Pockets, will be performing 45 minute sets every hour all day and night.
Each hour between sets there will be prize draws (such as tickets and gift certificates to local restaurants), and the Festival will be offering a special prize pack to the Last Fan Standing, including a Gold Festival Pass, dining and hospitality package! The fan who spends the most time at the Ramble throughout the day wins it all.
As a special bonus for attendees, Festival Bronze Passes will be sold at the Record Centre for $50 OFF from 10pm – 6am! The 24-Hour Jazz Ramble will be unlike any event ever held by the local musical community, and is the perfect way to get ready for the 11-day TD Ottawa Jazz Festival, which runs from June 22 – July 3, 2016.
