The Glebe BIA
The Glebe Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a non-profit organization affiliated with the City of Ottawa, dedicated to the success and safety of Glebe businesses through initiatives such as on-street beautification, marketing campaigns, and public realm advocacy.
The Glebe BIA champions neighbourhood improvements, live events and creative opportunities to amplify the success of its nearly 400 business membership.
The Glebe BIA was formed in 2008 and the BIA staff report to a Board of Directors who are voted upon at the Annual General Meeting and serve four-year terms. The BIA budget is funded by a commercial taxation levy paid by the property owners within the Glebe BIA borders.
