The Ottawa Canadian Film Festival (OCan) celebrates bold, original storytelling from filmmakers across Canada. Held in the heart of Ottawa, OCan brings audiences together to discover independent Canadian films, meet the people behind them, and experience stories that reflect the diversity, creativity, and spirit of our country. From compelling features and shorts to filmmaker Q&As, the festival creates a welcoming space for film lovers and creators to connect. OCan is proudly volunteer-run and dedicated to championing Canadian independent cinema, supporting emerging and established filmmakers, and building a stronger community around homegrown stories on the big screen. Taking place November 6th to 8th, 2026.
