IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships

From Sept. 9–19, Ottawa becomes the global stage for the IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships, welcoming the world’s top teams for 11 unforgettable days of elite international competition, incredible energy and championship moments.

With 28 teams (16 men’s and 12 women’s), the transformational event, in Canada’s capital, will feature 336 athletes and 1,200 participants, captivate tens of thousands of spectators and hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world, and ultimately move millions toward a more inclusive world.
