Serbian Orthodox Church

St. Stefan Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian Community of Ottawa is dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and sharing Serbian heritage, culture, traditions, and values in Ottawa and the surrounding region.

The Serbian community has been an active part of Ottawa's multicultural landscape for decades, bringing together families and individuals through cultural, social, educational, and community activities.

The community supports Serbian folk dancing, music, language and cultural education, traditional celebrations, children's activities, and other programs that help pass Serbian heritage to younger generations.

The Ottawa Serbian Festival, held annually over Labour Day weekend, is the community's largest cultural celebration. The Festival brings together Serbian and other cultural communities through traditional food, music, folk dancing, children's activities, sports, cultural demonstrations, and live entertainment.

Welcoming visitors of all backgrounds, the Festival provides an opportunity to experience Serbian culture while encouraging cultural exchange and strengthening connections throughout the Ottawa community.

Organized with the support of volunteers, parishioners, families, community organizations, and local businesses, the Festival reflects the Serbian community's strong spirit of hospitality, volunteerism, and cultural pride.
