St. Patrick's Day Parade

Get ready, Ottawa, the city is going green! The Irish Society of the National Capital Region proudly presents the 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Parade, marching through downtown Ottawa on Saturday, March 7th at noon. 

This annual celebration transforms the capital into a sea of shamrocks, music, and Irish pride as families, performers, community groups, and local businesses come together for one unforgettable afternoon.

The parade kicks off at the Supreme Court of Canada, travels along Wellington Street, turns up Sussex Drive, and wraps up in the lively ByWard Market, the perfect place to continue the festivities.

In the weeks leading up to parade day, join us for our beloved Irish Breakfast gatherings at the Heart & Crown in Barrhaven. These community events bring together friends, families, and supporters of Irish heritage from across the National Capital Region, building excitement as March 7th approaches.
