November 16, 2016 OTTAWA – Angèle Dubeau will bring new life to favourites of film with her ensemble of strings and piano, La Pietà, Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Dominion-Chalmers United Church. The beloved Québécoise violinist’s performance is part of the 2016-17 Chamberfest Concert Series, presented by the Ottawa Chamber Music Society. Though Dubeau plans to choose the exact programme on the night, the ensemble’s selected repertoire includes pieces from the films Amélie and Star Wars, iconic themes from Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones, and the work of video game composer Maxime Goulet.
