Let your Canadian pride shine! On Canada Day, you are invited to record a short video to express what makes you proud to be Canadian.
Your message could be featured on the airwaves of the Canada Day evening national show on Radio-Canada and CBC!
Each video submitted gives you a chance to win one of two unforgettable trips aboard VIA Rail, each worth up to $15,000.
How to participate
Choose between these 2 options:
submit your video online before July 2, 2025 ;
Record your message in one of our video kiosks located in a participating VIA Rail train station.
Whether you're a singer, musician, slam poet, storyteller, dancer, or simply proud to be Canadian, we want to hear from you! This is your chance to showcase your creativity, culture, and connection to your country. Need inspiration? Here are some ideas to get you started:
sing the national anthem or an original song;
share a testimony or an anecdote;
present an artistic performance - music, slam, magic, comedy, etc.;
wear a costume or cultural symbol;
simply say “Happy Canada Day!”
The Ô Canada! Station in Ottawa
The Ô Canada! station video terminals will be visiting selected major VIA Rail stations across Canada to capture your message of Canadian pride.
It will be in Ottawa between June 9th and 20th.
